Lake

With the installation of theHarvey Memorial Bridgeacross Reedy Creek, it is now possible to walk all the way around the lake.

If you are walking between June and October, look for pickerelweed, shown in the page header above.  Pickerelweed, along with other native aquatic plants, was planted in the lake as part of the lake renovation.

If you are walking in late summer into fall, you should see a mass of yellow flowers growing in the wetland area in the southwest corner of the lake.  These were not planted, but appeared on their own, once that area was allowed to flourish naturally.

Boating is allowed on Forest Hill Lake.  You must bring your own boat.

Fishing is also allowed — catch and release only.
